Norwegian Control Systems (NCS) shall deliver five complete automation systems including their Concept Bridge solution, combined with a large electro engineering package for Fjord1`s new ferries. The contract value is approx. 21 MNOK. This means Norwegian Control Systems shall now deliver automation systems to nine Fjord1 ferries in total, which are to be built in Norwegian yards.

The first vessel ‘Bossa Nova’, has now been completed and the naming ceremony was held in Itajai, Brazil on Wednesday 4 October.

MMC Refrigeration wins major contract

MMC Refrigeration at Vigra and Tromsoe have come through the eye of the needle in Russia, and won a major contract to deliver marine freezing plants, to four freezer-trawlers to Murmansk. The vessels are under construction at the shipyard JSC Leningrad “Pella”, located outside St. Petersburg. Murmanseld 2 is the owner of the new trawlers.

France Pélagique and Havyard Ship Technology signed an agreement to build an innovative pelagic traw

France Pélagique (based in Paris and part of the Cornelis Vrolijk group based in The Netherlands) and Havyard Ship Technology (based in Norway) have signed a contract to build an innovative pelagic trawler of 80-meter. The vessel is expected to be delivered in December 2018. This new innovative vessel will replace one of the two French flagged trawlers (built in the early 80’s), owned by France Pélagique. The contract includes an option for one additional vessel.

The Fosnavaag based Havyard Group AS has reached record profits for 2011. Earnings before tax have more than doubled from NOK 98 million in 2010 to NOK 210 million last year. There will be handed out bonuses to employees of NOK 20.000 each.

SWIRE PACIFIC OFFSHORE ORDERS FOUR MORE SHIPS OF HAVYARD DESIGN TM

Swire Pacific Offshore has ordered four AHTS of a Havyard 844 XL design at the Singapore Technologies Marine (ST Marine) shipyard in Singapore. ST Marine informs in a press release that the shipbuilding contract is worth around SGD 171 million.
