HSE Course

In accordance with our QA system and HSE procedures personnel entering Havyard Ship Technology's site in Leirvik must take our HSE course and pass the test.

Who should take full version of HSE course (HSE course for Havyard Group)?

  • All employees of Havyard Ship Technology, this also applies to temporary staff and interns.
  • All suppliers who will services in the production or on board the vessels. This also applies to personnel from other business areas in Havyard Group.
  • Ship owner’s staff and crew who stay on board during the production or awaiting delivery of the vessel.
  • Inspectors working with cranes, lifts, workshops and on board the vessels.
  • Stamina BHT nurse with regular office days at the shipyard
  • Apprentices

Who will take the short version (10-12 min) (HSE course for visitors and service personnel)?

  • Sales personnel visiting office departments
  • Ship owner’s employees on a short visit, 1-2 days
  • Companies only working in a permanent workshop (not on board the vessel)
  • Companies performing fall protection control
  • Stamina BHT personnel accompanied by shipyard personnel
  • Group leader for teams and organizations that will perform cleaning / voluntary work on newbuildings
